The NVQ may be free, fully funded, part funded or not eligible for any subsidy.

It is very much dependant on the NVQ chosen and at what level. At Mainstream (UKNVQ) we hold a contract that allows us to offer a large quantity of fully funded training.

There are two areas of delivery, one of which is a standard NVQ the other is by way of accessing UPLIFT Funding.

UPLIFT Funding is an amount of money allocated to an individual to enhance his/her skills and is delivered prior to the NVQ.

Dependant on the course undertaken there is no charge for practical training, a fee for exams, test or registration may apply.

Example:

Candidate works in a warehouse, needs to use forklift truck.

Eligibility - YES

Training - Fork Truck Counterbalance

Cost - FREE

NVQ - Plant Operations

Cost - FREE

Outcome a skilled person fully trained and certificated for FREE.

Note: We are funded on achievement so should a candidate not complete a charge will apply
