NVQ uplift funding describes the sum of money available to offset some of the costs involved in the delivery and administration of the practical and the theory element of individual or collective training.
Mainstream carry out training in a complete range of vocational disciplines:
- Construction
- Logistics
- Driving
- Warehousing
- Business Administration
- Information Technology
... and more!
A candidate may be eligible for an NVQ but requires additional training and support to successfully meet and achieve the criteria detailed in the national standards for their job role.
The funding allows for a prescriptive Training Needs Analysis and a specifically designed course incorporating the specific needs of each individual candidate.
An example of this:
The Training Needs Analysis indentifies that a potential candidate who is a vocational lorry driver requires a Lorry Mounted Crane certificate to carry out his/her job at the same or next level.
A candidate that is eligible would be entitled to:
a) Lorry Mounted Crane course for free
b) An NVQ in Plant Operations for free
Or...
An NVQ in Driving Goods Vehicles for free
c) Free advice and guidance
d) Free support
The outcome of which is an operator who is more qualified and a more professional lorry driver. Qualifications delivered to the candidate and the employer are free.
There is a wide range of FREE courses and opportunities where your only contribution is tests fees, administration costs for exams and administration.
