
Storage & Warehousing Level 2 is a qualification designed for candidates involved in the handling and movement of goods. This qualification recognises the existing level of competence already delivered within the job role.
NVQ in logistics are work based learning qualifications designed to recognise and enhance the skills of persons from the logistics and transport sectors.
The aim is to on completion provide a recognised NVQ qualification to assist in their duty and role and provide a platform for future advancement
Designed for:
- Persons engaged in various sectors of the transport and logistics industry, who wish to gain certification and have their competency recognised.
- New employees who have undergone basic training and who are now gaining industry experience with a view to gaining a recognised qualification.
- Persons wishing to gain a full understanding of the industry.
Candidates have the opportunity to develop skills within all aspects of industry which will assist in gaining the NVQ.
Mandatory Units:
Candidates must complete all of these units:
- Maintain Health, Safety and Security in Logistic Operations
- Develop Effective Working Relationships with Colleagues in Logistic Operations
Optional Units:
Candidates must also complete 6 of the following units:
- Dispatch Goods for Delivery
- Process Returned Goods
- Sort Goods and Materials for Recycling
- Manage Receipt, Storage or Dispatch of Goods
- Audit Stock Levels and Stock Records
