The BTEC is the technical section of the apprenticeship.
It is a qualificationin it's own right and will be relevant to the apprenticeship that you are undertaking. The qualifications offer a mix of theory and practice, and can also include an element of work experience. They can take the form of (or be part of) a technical certificate, one of the key components of an apprenticeship.
The qualification consists of a taught element related to your qualification and an exam to prove you understanding.
The taught element can be delivered using methods such as:
- Classroom training with a subject-matter expert
- Distant learning in your own time with support for your assessor using tools such us:
i Online development and research
ii Use of a subject proved work book
This section will be discussed and planned with your assessor and management. |
